Federal funds for respite

Karingal’s Mental Health Support will receive $100,000 in Federal Government funding in 2008/09 and 2009/10 for the provision of respite, while more than $60,000 in Commonwealth funds has been pledged for new respite packages for older carers of people with a disability.
The funding for older carers will support eight new respite packages.
