Karingal participant loses battle

Ian Scarlett, who participated at Karingal for more than 50 years, succumbed to his terminal illness on May 29 after a valiant, year-long battle.
Many members of the Karingal community attended Ian's funeral on June 3 ranging from the CEO to Ian's client friends.
Ian’s sister Doris Le-Roy, on behalf of Ian’s family, said “we greatly appreciate this exhibition of the compassion and solidarity of the Karingal community.
“We would like to record our appreciation of Karingal's ongoing care and nurture of Ian over more than fifty years.”
