Salvo’s Community Retail/warehousing
Venue: The Salvation Army - Long Gully, Strath Hill, Bendigo and Kangaroo Flat
Available Days: Monday - Friday

Tasks Include:
Participants will learn and practice a range of skills pertaining to retail, tasks will include customer service, hospitality merchandising, sorting of donated goods in a warehouse environment, housekeeping and include training in OH&S.
FEO - Recycling
Venue: FEO – Eaglehawk - Bendigo
Available Days: Tuesday & Wednesday

Tasks Include:
Participants will have the opportunity to experience and learn skills pertaining to environmental recycling and E-Waste control, and learning computer hardware re-building and computer programming, whilst benefiting community members and the environment
Bendigo Connections II
Venue: Various host placements – Bendigo, Kangaroo Flat, Eaglehawk, Castlemaine, Long Gully, Maryborough and Golden Square.
Available Days: Monday - Friday
Supervisor: Various depending on location

Tasks Include:
Participants will work with a range local op shop, community organisations gaining work experience and developing new skills in retail, customer service, cleaning, warehousing, sorting, merchandising, data entry. Police Check required.
Drought Force Assist

Tasks Include:
Participants will be working on a range of farms across the Bendigo region. Task will include fencing, feeding of livestock, general upkeep and maintenance of farm property. Through Work for the Dole this will provide assistance to drought stricken farms.
